چکیده

This chapter provides history of routing to cognitive routing . Firstly i t reviews hardwired routing a kind of switching to dynamic routing for telecommunication network starting with dynamic alternate routing (DAR) to ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) routing. Secondly it presents routing in data network or packet switching. Thirdly it reviews routing for wireless multi hop network with special reference to MANET and WMN (Wireless Mesh Network) . Consequently it reviews suitability of MANET and WMN routing protocol to Cognitive routing. Finally presents Cognitive routing protocol developed by author.

Improve the Energy Efficiency in Cognitive Radio Sensor Network using Spectrum Allocation

Cooperative routing and range spectrum aggregation are two promising methods for channel sensing and switching. In this paper, we propose a Cognitive Radio Sensor Network (CRSNs) based cooperative routing protocol, termed as licensed channel, termed as cluster, for intra-cluster and intercluster. To the best of our insight, this is the first commitment on range accumulation based agreeable dire...

Routing Protocols for Mobile Cognitive Radio Ad Hoc Networks

Ad hoc network is a collection of wireless mobile nodes that dynamically form a temporary network without the use of any existing network infrastructure or centralized administration. A cognitive radio is a radio that can change its transmitter parameters based on interaction with the environment in which it operates. The basic idea of cognitive radio networks is that the unlicensed devices (co...

Introduction to Cognitive Radio Networks : Communication Protocols and Security Issues

A cognitive radio (CR) is a radio that can change its transmission parameters based on the perceived availability of the spectrum bands in its operating environment. CRs support dynamic spectrum access and can facilitate a secondary unlicensed user to efficiently utilize the available underutilized spectrum allocated to the primary licensed users. A cognitive radio network (CRN) is composed of ...

Power Analysis and Comparison of Reactive Routing Protocols for Cognitive Radio Ad Hoc Networks

Cognitive radio networks hold the key to achieving better radio bandwidth utilization and improving the quality of wireless applications. In this paper we design a scenario for cognitive routing to improve wireless ad hoc network performance in terms of power consumption in transmit, receive and ideal modes, as well as reducing the collision of relaying on the network, without declining end-to-...
